Christmas has been especially difficult without you.
It’s been a hard year, and yesterday I really struggled. I managed to get through by keeping myself busy, trying not to look at my phone, and not really settling until bedtime.
God, I miss you both so much. I hope with all my heart that life after death exists, and that you, David and Dave, had a wonderful Christmas wherever you are.

Another year, another birthday without you here. Jean, today I find myself looking up, sending all my love to where I hope your soul is resting peacefully.

You were such a special part of my life your kindness, your spirit, your quiet strength. Even though you’re no longer here with me, I still feel your presence in so many ways. In memories that come uninvited, in words you once said that now mean even more, in the love that never faded.

I wish I could celebrate with you today, hear your laugh, give you a hug. But instead, I’ll light a candle, close my eyes, and whisper a prayer to the heavens hoping you can feel it wherever you are.

Another Christmas has come, and once again, your absence is deeply felt. The table feels incomplete without your laughter, your stories, and the warmth you brought to every gathering.

It’s hard to put into words just how much you are missed. There’s a space in our hearts and our home that no one else can fill. We think of you often, especially during moments like this when family comes together.
