RonHESLOPBorn on 17th February 1930 in Railway Terrace, Gateshead, passed away peacefully in Fellingate Care Centre, Sunderland Rd, on the 23rd October, aged 90. Beloved husband of the recently departed Betty for 66 years, they lived on Lyndhurst Est., Low Fell for 54 happy years. Survived by his youngest sister, Margaret Carroll. Cherished father of Anne, Alan and Jill, dear father in law to Tom, Pat and Catrin, a fun, loving Grandad to Joe, Edward, Adele, Adam, Ruth and Laurie and a proud Great Grandad of Halle, Mabel and Alex. The cortege will leave from Appleby Gdns for a small service at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 6th November at 3.15 pm. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be given if desired to Dementia UK. The family would like to thank the staff of Fellingate for their excellent loving care of Ron for the past 11 months.
