Happy Birthday, my lovely gorgeous Maureen,my darling.
I write this for you with,in our garden robin sitting alongside me,listening to you sing.
I feel you are with me every step of my way.
You are in my heart,my soul and I think of you every minute of my waking day.
Today will be extra hard as it's your birthday, a lovely day we've spent together, every birthday for the past forty five years.
So sadly,so tragically,taken from us far too soon,today will be full of heartbreak and floods of tears.
I miss looking after you,talking with you,laughing together and watching you open,I always bought you thirteen presents.
My days are lonely without you,my eyes full of tears and then I get warmth and comfort as I feel alongside me your presence.
You visit me,give me signs,whether it's your dining chair that has changed position.
Or your lounge chair you used to sit on.
To the most recent,a noise in the bedroom which alerted me.
And the bedcovers move,ruffle,straighten,with my own eyes I see.
So you see my Maureen,my love,my soul mate,with you we had a beautiful life.
We'll always be together,because our love for each other can never be broken.I love you you'll always be my wife.
I know you love me too,you said everyday and our lovely bond is not broken.
I miss you now,my heartache,my tears,my handkerchiefs are soaken,.
But rest assured my gorgeous Maureen, my lovely.
We will reunite in God's house,in paradise.Our love is so strong well be back together one day.
You remember our rings,your rings I bought you,engagement,wedding and eternity.
God Bless my love,the angels do sing,we'll be reunited, that is a certainty.
