Mavis VeraHICKSpassed away at Southmead Hospital on October 20th, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Much loved mum of Caroline, Andrew and Nigel, mother-in-law of Egon, grandmother of Lars, Laela, Joseph, Sydney, Harvey, Lilas and Harry. and Nan Nan of Tilly, Olly, Harvey and Mason. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Service at Weston-Super-Mare Crematorium on Thursday 4th November, 2021 at 10.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for Bristol Animal Rescue may be forwarded to Cheddar & District Funeral Directors, Redcliffe Court, Redcliffe Street, Cheddar. Tel: 01934 742958.

Mavis was such a lovely lady. My Mum Beryl Hicks and myself, had fond memories of her when she and Dickie were in Newquay Cornwall. Sending Consolation to her family.

When Mavis came in to my life, we hit it off right from the start. We shared many laughs on our afternoons out together while she lived at the Hawthorns. She was a beautiful person inside and out and I loved caring for her. She was one in a million and I miss her loads. RIP Mavis.....Tina XXX
