Many people believe they have the best Grandad in the world, but I really did. You were there when I needed you and supported me through the ups and downs of life. I will never forget the holidays we shared and will miss the times we sat together and you shared your life stories. I know you felt ready to go, but I miss you so much and will love you forever.

Gordon worked underground at Boulby Potash mine and was always know by his work mates as an absolute gentleman. He was well liked and a pleasure to work with and will be sadly missed. My condolences to all his family. John Hoy

Rest in peace Uncle Gordon
I would like to thank you for everything you did for me and my Mam from taking me to hospital when I was a nipper and sorting houses out when I was older. We would never had managed without you. Look after Auntie Bunny and Mo
