MalcolmHIGSONDorothy and Philip Higson would like to express sincere thanks for the sympathy they have received after the loss of Malcolm, a beloved Husband and Dad. Throughout Malcolm's illness our paths have crossed with our local District Nurses, Hospice carers, Doctors and Surgeons all of whom have endeavoured to make Malcolm's life more comfortable, and for that we are truly grateful. Our heartfelt thanks to our friends and neighbours within the valley and beyond, who have given us comfort and support with their cards, flowers, messages and hugs. We feel blessed to know you. Last but not least our thanks to Dr Sykes for her care and attention, to Dawn and her team at Fred Hamers whose guidance and care took a weight off our shoulders, to Neil who spoke so eloquently of Malcolm's life, to Ann at Rolands Florist for the beautiful flowers and to the Sykeside Hotel for the lovely food. Malcolm had a wonderful send off with some tears but also with laughter for a life well lived.
