PeterHILLEN(Bill Quay). On 16th September, aged 70 years, Peter, dearly loved husband of the late Pamela (nee Pick), dearly beloved brother of Joan and the late Charles, Audrey and Robert. Was much loved by all family and friends. Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 25th September at 1.45pm. Friends please meet at crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Macmillan Nurses, a donation may be made at the service. Afterwards everyone welcome back to the Cricketers.

I worked with Peter for 25 years or so. He was epic and i miss him very much, to this day. He came to my wedding evening do...back in July 1988,. Still wearing his overalls, having just finished a 12 hour shift at Philips, Durham.and presented my present...a toaster from all my colleagues.. it was great to see him...in his Red Peageot 205 GTi. We had so many laughs together over the years and he is such a sad miss. I was so pleased to have met Pamela, they were so happy together. He never recovered from losing her and don't blame him. RIP mate.
