Crew Of GlamorganHMSThirteen crew members of the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Glamorgan died when it came under attack during its involvement in the Falklands War.She was struck by an Argentinian missile on 12 June, 1982, at the height of the South Atlantic conflict.The ship was moving fast enough to take evasive action, saving her from sinking. The ship was repaired and returned to service. It was decommissioned in 1986 and sold to Chile.Its motto was the Welsh I Fyny Bo'r Nod: "I Give Way To None"In total 255 British servicemen died in the Falklands War, including 88 Royal Navy seamen.
