MaureenHODGEThe Family of Maureen "Moe" Hodge must regretfully announce her sudden death on Monday 1st July at her Care Home in Perth Western Australia.
The Family would like to thank all of the management and staff at the Sister Mary Glowery nursing home for the wonderful love, care, and constant attention that they gave to Moe, and for the warmth and consideration they gave to us as a family during these extremely distressing times, we will never be able to repay them for what they did for us all, thank you.
Moe who was a devoted and loving mum, Grandma, and Great Grandma now rejoins Ian, her beloved husband of 69 years.
Moe was a very well known figure in the Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and wider rural community and known Locally as the "Cleethorpes Mighty Atom" due to her many performances singing in various venues across the region including for the "Cleethorpes Catering Cuties", where she would often deliver extremely well received renditions of Edith Piaf classics in the original French format.
Moe had a truly electric presence and could light up a room with her singing and lightening wit, she was a devoted and loving mother that was integral to every aspect of our lives and will be very sadly missed.
She will now be reunited with her one and only true love, Ian, where they can now enjoy all the love and comforts Our Lord Almighty can bestow upon them under the rays of his eternal light, May they Rest in Peace, Amen
