In Loving Memory of Marion Hoe

Some people leave a mark on your heart that lasts a lifetime, and Nana, you were one of those people\.

You were quite simply one of the kindest, sweetest souls anyone could ever have the privilege of knowing\. You had a heart full of love and spent your life caring for everyone around you\. You always put others first, and your kindness, warmth and gentle spirit made the world a better place for everyone lucky enough to know you\.

You’ll forever be remembered for your incredible cooking and the amazing Sunday dinners you made\. There was nothing quite like sitting around your table, enjoying the food you had lovingly prepared\. And your baking was just as special\. Everything you made was filled with love, and those memories will stay with us forever\.

You were also an incredibly talented swimmer, a woman with so many wonderful qualities and talents\. But above all, what made you truly special was the love you had for your family and the way you made everyone feel cared for\.

Your love story with Grandad Brian was something truly beautiful\. Eighty years of marriage, a lifetime spent side by side, through all of life’s highs and lows\. You were the most wonderful wife, and the love you shared was something incredibly special\. A lifetime together that so many people can only dream of\.

Although your final days were difficult, and you faced struggles that no one should have to endure, you never lost the kind and gentle spirit that made you who you were\. Your illness may have made things harder, but it could never take away the beautiful person you had been throughout your life or the love you gave to those around you\.

It’s heartbreaking to say goodbye, but we take comfort in knowing how much love you gave and how many beautiful memories you leave behind\.

We’ll remember the Sunday dinners, the baking, your smile, your kindness, your love and all the little things that made you our Nana\.

Thank you for everything you did, -
