LindaHOFFof Allestree passed away at Royal Derby Hospital on Monday 10th June 2024 aged 67 years. Partner to Brian, mother to Simon and Darren. Loved by all of the family and a dear friend to many. Linda's funeral service will take place at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 at 11am.

Family flowers only please but a donation to the Ashbourne Animal Welfare (The Ark Rescue and Rehoming Centre), a local Derbyshire animal charity, will be gratefully received in Linda's memory.

Linda was a dear friend who I met at the then Virgin Active gym. We soon struck up a great friendship due to our love of oriental food. She soon graduated to West Indian food which I cooked at home and she loved it. We usually met at the Markeaton McDonald’s car park to give her my cooking. Last spoke to her in March and she was looking forward to some more. I had no idea that she was seriously ill since a major heart operation. I shall miss her.

I met Linda in 1986 when we were neighbours on Pentewan Close Allestree when we were all young Mums living on the same friendly road. Our children grew up playing together & even though I left the area I always seemed to bump into Linda on many occasions over the years. Linda was a beautiful person both inside & out & I shall always treasure my memories of having the privilege of meeting her.
