We met Meg briefly in the early 1970s but didn’t really get to know her until around twenty years ago, when she helped with celebrations of the life and work of the South Bank artist David Mulholland. After that, we developed a close friendship – spending many happy hours chatting about life, art, and the state of the world. She was delightful company and always inquisitive about, and supportive of whatever we were doing; even when she was finding it difficult to be active herself.
Meg was a talented artist and writer. She was also a promoter of other local art and artists. It was a great pleasure working with her on a short video about her own life as an artist. She was a lovely woman. We will always hold fond memories of the time we spent in her company.
