Dear Granny,
I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it home to be there for you, or for David either. I truly hope you are together now, and as happy as I remember both of you, especially around cooking time, just before lunch, when we used to come up to Cambridge, Denmore Lodge, when you'd both be out waiting for the car to arrive and hugging us all and then inviting us in, and the smell of all that amazing food you'd worked so hard on would be all over the house....Those memories and more will live on in me forever..Thank you for being the great grandparents you were to both Charlie and I....We will both miss you, and hope you've found some peace....All of my love, always...Your grandson, Ben. (And his new wife, Mana...Who I know, you would have loved to meet..)
