I awake each morning to start a new day,
But the pain of losing you never goes away.
I go about the things I have to do,
And as the hours pass, I think again of you.
I want to call you and just hear your voice.
Then I remember that I have no choice,
For you are not there and now my heart cries
Just to see you again, to tell you goodbye.
To say, "Mum I love you and I always will,"
And hope that much of you in me you've instilled.
The day that you left I just didn't know
That you were going where I couldn't go.
And now all my memories of you are so dear,
But gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here.
Who now can hear me when I need to cry?
It's so hard to tell you, "Mum goodbye."
Someday I know all will be well
And I'll see you again with stories to tell
Of how you were missed and how we have grown
And how good it is to finally be home.
Until then my memories of you I'll keep near,
And I'll pass them on to those who are dear.

Well my old bag, what a send off you had!
The 5 of them did you proud.

I’ve been thinking what to write for a while now, and I’m still fumbling over the words, they shouldn’t be needed so soon.

You’ll be missed by all those you came into contact with Trace.

The ‘hello darlin, how’s your mum?’ conversations out the window.
The countless times I’d hear ‘Kim, can you come and get me and the old bag from town?’ when you’d been shopping with my mum.
Banging on the bathroom wall ‘Oi turn it up, I like that one!!’ cause my music was that loud.

‘The loss is immeasurable, but then so is the love left behind’

All my love,
Kim

Tracy/Mom

When I fell in love with your son, I was falling in love with the boy you raised into an incredible man. Thank you for welcoming me into the family with open arms and a warm heart. I am honoured.

Your children truly are a reflection on the incredible woman you were. I know how exceptionally proud of each one you were. Many times you would tap me on the shoulder and give me a cheeky grin after looking towards your children. You didn’t even need to say the words, the look of love and pride shone through your smile and eyes.

I promise to ensure Elijah knows about his nanna and how much she loved him. We will forever miss you. Love you always, Millie xxx
