Pamela KathleenHOLMESIt is with deep regret that we announce the death our Mum on 20 December 2017. Pam leaves behind her large, supportive and happy family, children David, Kathy, Richard and Delyth, their families which include nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pam will be remembered for her zest for life and a wonderful curiosity and generosity concerning the world around her. She enjoyed visiting different countries and her knowledge of geology made the landscape of great interest to her and those she travelled with. Pam enjoyed sport, particularly swimming and was a great player and later teacher of both netball and tennis. Her love of the outdoors included walking in the Brecon Beacons which she did well into her later life and she was an accomplished gardner as well as a lifetime member of the WI and of the Church of Brecon, which inlcluded singing with the Cathedral Singers. Pam captured many of the things she liked by painting them. The family would like to say a special thank you to Gayle and Becky who offered her considerable support and an invaluable level of vigilance in the last year of her life. Funeral service on Tuesday 16th January 2018 in St Mary's Church, Brecon at 2pm, followed by Cremation in Llwydcoed, Aberdare.
