William TerenceHOLMESTerry aged 97 years, passed away peacefully on Friday 24th June 2022, whilst in the care of Bridgewater Park Home. A devoted and loving Husband to Beryl for over 70 Years. A much loved Dad to Barry and Peter, and Father in Law to Janice. A proud Grandad to Tracy, Steven, and Paul, and A Great Grandad to Charlotte, Harry, Sophie and Lily. A funeral service will be held at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, on Thursday 21st July 2022 at 1:20pm. Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for The Woodlands Trust. Terry is now resting in the care of Ashby Funeral Care, 174 Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe. Tel: 01724 841112

One of the last members of the Greatest Generation. You grew up in hardship, answered the call to defend this country and returned to work in a steel industry that allowed Scunthorpe to thrive.
