Dave, "This world was never meant for one as wonderful as you" You never had a bad word to say about anyone, always the gentleman. I think U would be humbled by the number of people who turned up at your service to show their respect to you. All your Brummie relatives travelled up and we all gave you a send off like no other, it was only what you deserved my love. Rest in peace now. THANK U TO ALL FRIENDS AND FAMILY for the outpouring of affection and love for my Dave, truly a great man xxx

Dad, I’m heartbroken you are gone. I’m trying to take some comfort knowing you are no longer suffering, but it doesn’t ease the pain of not having you with us anymore. Thankyou for giving me the best memories of our times together and such a happy childhood. Thankyou for being the best Dad I could have wished for. You truly were the best! Thankyou for always looking out for me and Robyn, and being the best and most caring Grandad. You have taken a huge piece of my heart with you, I miss you so much already.
