Peter GeoffreyHOLMESIt is with the deepest sadness we announce that Pete passed away, at the Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday 9th July 2024, aged 57 years. His family were by his side, throughout his journey. Pete battled illness for 8 long years, and showed strength and determination like no other. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the Haematology Team at the Royal Derby Hospital, whose outstanding care, support and guidance was second to none. They would also like to thank both Glenfield Hospital and the Royal Derby Hospital Intensive Care Teams for their phenomenal care, support and determination saving Pete's life. Pete's funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Friday 16th August 2024 at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Myeloma Cancer Research & The British Heart Foundation. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
