This was my auntie Alice. Last time I saw her she was on a bus going to Rochdale. I was crossing the road from Tesco in Rochdale. Lost touch with her about 30 years ago. Always thought about her xxx rip Auntie Alice. Xx

I first met Alice and her brother Ron when I started working in care when I was 17, I learnt Sign language so I could talk to her and she taught me so many signs. She was so caring, thoughtful and kind. She always smiled. RIP Alice

Alice holt was a loving caring individual who I supported for, for just over 3 years before she passed away alice was such a character and she had a heart of gold. When it was 12 oclock her lunch time she used to always put her fist up to say come dinner time as Alice was deaf and wasn’t verbal but us carers understood her and when I never buttered the muffins properly for her jam butty she used to laugh
I first started with alice and she never went outside in the summer in the back garden but I managed to get her out and she loved it and when there was 2 staff on we used to always go to marks and spend her money on new pjs and lunch and get her nails done🩷 Alice will be sadly missed and we love and miss you 🩷
