Douglas JamesHOLTE30-07-1928 - 02-12- 2023 With great sadness we announce the passing of Doug on 2nd December, aged 95.
Dearly loved and cherished by wife, Connie and daughters Jennifer, Stephanie and Gillian. Admired Father-In-Law of Keith, Paul and Tony. Devoted Grandad of Steven, Jonathan, Kathryn, Alisdair, Amy, Fiona, Jessica and partners. Treasured Great-Grandad of Kylie, Jake and Amelia.
Doug was an Ex Sir Alfred Herbert apprentice Pattern Maker and Committee member, later working as a skilled Pattern Maker for Jones & Large, Peugeot and Jaguar Cars.
A member Syd Laurence Appreciation Society and the Coventry Heart Rehabilitation Gym. Heartfelt thanks to Doug's, GPs, the Drs and Nursing staff at Walsgrave Hospital, Wills Pharmacy, the Community District Nurses, and to our friends at Care Associates (Cov) Ltd. for their outstanding care.
Doug will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral to be held at Canley Crematorium, Charter Chapel, on 28th December at 1.00pm.
