RaymondHOOKof Betjeman Place, Shaw, Oldham, passed away at the Royal Oldham Hospital on March 24, aged 83 years.

On leaving school, Raymond started work as an apprentice at WT Avery in Rawtenstall. He later qualified as a trading standards officer, working in Greater Manchester. Raymond enjoyed walking, playing bridge and spending time with his family.

Raymond leaves his wife of 62 years Anne, his daughter Janet, sons Graham and David and their partners Richard, Gina and Ella. As well as eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A service will be held on April 11 at Rawtenstall Cemetery at 11am conducted by a celebrant.
