GwenHOOLEMrs Gwen Hoole, of Dunster Avenue, West End, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 12, aged 84, with her daughters by her side. Beloved wife of the late Roy, dearly loved mum of Tracey and Lynn, dear mother-in-law of Stephen, and cherished grandma of Kate and Francesca. Gwen was formerly a hairdresser and in her retirement enjoyed spending time with her daughters and granddaughters. She loved gardening, solving crosswords, reading and walking on the prom at Blackpool to ‘blow the cobwebs away’. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 22, at Accrington Crematorium, by family invitation only, administered by Neil Overton. No flowers please, but donations, if desired, requested for Donna’s Dream House c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.
