ValerieHOOPERWe sadly announce that Val aged 86 passed away on 3 January 2024, whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.

She was much loved by her family, Carol & Tim, David & Diane, and Stephen & Lisa. She was a dear nana Val to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Val will also be missed by her many good friends.

A celebration of her life will take place at the Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 12th February 2024 at 11.15am and afterwards at the Countryman Humberstone.

Family flowers only.

Donations in Val's memory can be made either to The Healthtree Foundation, Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, or the Royal National Institute for the Blind or via a donation box available on the day

My wife and I used to attend Val's Dance at the Old Clee Church Hall, always welcomed with a smile and a wonderful buffet much of it baked by Val.
If it was your birthday a delicious home baked cake would be presented to you by Val.
