DorothyHOPE86 years old of Bollington Road, Ancoats, Manchester, 1936 - 2022 Passed away on boxing day 2022 and went to Heaven. Dot was the beloved mother of her only son Stephen, and was the very proud and loving grandmother of Sonny, her only grandchild whom she loved with all her heart and soul. Dot spent her working life from 1954 to 1999 as a nurse caring for others at North Manchester General Hospital. Dot is now reunited with her mam and dad, Emily and Henry and her sisters and brother, Emily, Muriel, Maureen and Harry in paradise, she was also very proud to be an aunt to all of her nephews and nieces whom she very much loved. ----- "Mum you are my guardian Angel, you are my best friend and the best mum any son could ever dream of, you have given absolutely everything of yourself to me, relentlessly and tirelessly and without question, you devoted yourself and your whole life and love to me until your last breath. My heart and my life are shattered without you, every place, every sight and sound and memory remind me of you, now there is an emptiness that cannot ever be filled without you. You will always be the one I love and I am so very proud of you and everything you did and achieved in your life, and most of all I am so very proud to be your son. Goodnight mum, until we see each other again, hugs and kisses.'' Stephen ----- Dot is survived by her son Stephen and grandson Sonny. Church service will be held at 12 noon at St Cross Church, Clayton on Tuesday 24th January. Burial will be at Philips Park cemetery Riverpark Road, Manchester at 1.15pm.
