Tracey & family I really don't know what to say apart from Trudy was one of the few people in the world who was a complete diamond!!!

She never had a wrong word to say about anyone & always found the best in everyone she met.

I was lucky enough to meet Trudy at Nursery & then in May 1995 we did our Nurse Training together at Birch Hill Rochdale for 3yrs,we shared the car driving & because we lived so closely our placements on wards were placed together, the laughs we had & the stress of studying too but Trudy was a absolute lovely girl to car share with,we also use to take Sheila to work on our way to work many times & collect her on our way home because Sheila couldn't drive, those were the days we were care free!!!!

Skip a few years forward & we always kept in touch,I was heartbroken when she told me about Sheila's diagnosis & even though it was hard Trudy cared for her at home with help until she gained her Angel wings & Trudy was lost, she was very very close to her Mum & they were like best friends,Trudy soldiered on with the help from her Big Sister & family & began to live & enjoy life again & I never ever thought I would see a post like this that a true Angel had been given her wings at 50yrs old,if you knew Trudy or your paths crossed you will all agree she was the kindest person ever & had so much love to give, she leaves behind a beautiful family & lots of friends from everywhere she worked!!!

Trudy you are now reunited with Sheila your beautiful Mum & you can both keep watch over Tracey & her family until they meet again, your Angel wings were needed far too early & I wish you had had more time on this earth than 50yrs but those years you made an impression on all our hearts......sleep well my beautiful friend.

To the Hope family! I’m never lost for words but had to leave until the day you say bye to your beloved Trudy to send a note! Affectionately known as ‘Sister Nooo!’ we met some 14 years ago and struck a friendship! She was the most loving and caring person I know. She would always ask about my poorly mother and sadly my aunt and her mother got Alzheimer’s at the same time and we shared the experience regularly. They both died around the same time. After caring for her mum for so long she took a well deserved trip to SA where I was to meet them. Unfortunately their schedule was rather tight and we couldn’t meet. We concluded that there would be another time. Sister No told me of biopsy results and never asked me for my opinion! We both knew the grim prognosis and knew it won’t be long. We last spoke when she was discharged home on oxygen for palliative care, it wasn’t long before the end came. You had a special place in my heart Sister No and you will be solely missed. I will cherish the memories and miss you dearly!💔🥰🙏

My darling sweet Trudy, you made everything and everyone feel so very special in your company. I loved working with you on the south unit, and you have left such a very big void, but the amount of love and radiance will forever fill this void. I will cherish our catch up over hot choc forever. Be at peace always Trudy with your mum by your side, with god to look after you. Lisa 💔xxx

Trudy will be missed dearly. She was a lovely manager whom I had the pleasure to work with at NWCATS.
Such a shock and a sudden departure. A loss to all of us, family and friends. She will be at peace now. RIP Trudy xx
