Heather WelburnHOPKINQuietly, on the 8th of November, at the age of 91, Heather passed away at her home in Hendy. Devoted widow of the late Brian Hopkin, a loving mother to Deian and a dear mother-in-law to Debbie. Formerly a much loved and respected teacher at both Llangennech and Hendy Primary Schools, where she touched the lives of many children throughout her long career. Heather will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
A public funeral service to celebrate Heather's life will be held at 4 pm on the 24th of November 2025 at Llanelli Crematorium. All are welcome to attend. Family flowers only. Yn dawel, ar yr 8fed o Dachwedd, yn 91 oed, bu farw Heather yn ei chartref yn Yr Hendy. Gweddw ymroddedig y diweddar Brian Hopkin, mam gariadus i Deian a mam-yng-nghyfraith annwyl i Debbie. Yn flaenorol, roedd yn athrawes annwyl a pharchus iawn yn Ysgolion Gynradd Llangennech ar Hendy, lle cyffyrddodd â bywydau lli o blant drwy gydol ei gyrfa hir. Bydd ei cholled yn ei theimlo gan ei holl teulu a ffrindiau.
