EdwardHOPKINSPassed away peacefully at home in Llwynypia, on Wednesday 19th October aged 82 years. Beloved husband to Mary, and adored father to Simon and father-in-law to Shelley. Loving grandfather to Ellis and Charles. Edward will be fondly remembered by the communities he served as a public servant which include, Rhondda Polar Bears Disabled Swimming Club, past Mayor of Rhondda Borough Council (1983-84). Chairman Friends of Y Bwthyn, President Gelli Park Bowls Club, and Chairman Rhondda Constituency Labour Party Tonypandy ward. Funeral service on Thursday 3rd November at 12.15pm, St Cynons Church, Llwynypia, followed by cremation at Glyntaff Crematorium at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please.
