Stella BancroftHOREPeacefully at Kent House Care Home, Okehampton, on August 2nd 2023, aged 78 years, formerly of Northlew. Beloved wife of the late Ted, much loved mum of Mark and Jonathan, loving granny of Ben, Sam, Nathan, Jamie, Jack, George and Thomas, sister of the late John and the late Barbara. Greatly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service at Glynn Valley Crematorium on Thursday August 24th at 2.30 pm. Donations if desired please to Hospiscare by retiring collection or c/o Bodmin Funeral Services, Old Wall Lodge, Castle Canyke Road. PL31 1DU.

Stella, my Auntie xx. When I think of Stella, I smile. I think of laughter (lots of it!), cheeky smiles, gin and tonic, horses, crosswords, gorgeous cottage, horses, wellies, milk in a churn straight from the farm, Arga, fun! Of course I also think of Ted, the gentle giant, Mark and Jonathan. It has been too long, but I am lucky for my last memory of Stella to be vital, smiling and fun! Sending lots of love and hugs to Mark and Jon xx

You were part of my equestrian career from the beginning being the examiner at my PC C test right through to taking me for my A test at Huntley, quizzing me all the way. And latterly sharing laughs in our professional career with many other people who respected you immensely
You loss to the equestrian community will be hugely missed
