Royston KennethHORNBYIt is with great sadness on 30th December 2024, at Old Norse Lodge, Grimsby, Roy peacefully passed away. A devoted husband of the late Jennifer Ruth Hornby, a much loved father of Rachel, Alison and father-in-law of Christopher, a treasured grandpa of Thomas, William, Edward, Oliver, Emily and Catherine, a loving brother of Josephine and the late John, Vernon and Paul, a great friend to many who will be sadly missed. The cremation will be held on Friday 31st January at 12 noon, followed by reception at Hall Farm, Ashby Cum Fenby. Family flowers only please, but if so desired, a donation to Dementia UK may be made. Roy will remain in our heart forever.

Lovely Man....I was 16 when I was employed as an office junior at Atkinsons gents outfitters in Grimsby.
Roy was a senior employed in the men's department.
Many years later when he moved to Ashby-cum-fenby
I use to chat with him on a weekly bus journey into Grimsby. I had not seen him since the Covid pandemic changed all our lives.
He had never changed in all those years.....such a polite well spoken gentleman. RIP
