KathHOWARDOf Sinfin (formerly of Alvaston) It is with great sadness that Kath passed away peacefully on 9th September 2023 at the Royal Derby Hospital aged 87 years. Caring, loving Mum of Julie, Andrew, the late Tina and Chris. Mother-in-law to both Kevin and Wendy. Much loved and adored Nanna to Emma, Sarah, Olivia, Christiana, Mattie, Georgia and George. Loving Great Nanna to Poppy, Noah, Freddie, Mabel and Florence. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday October 6th at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston-On-Trent, colours welcome, black need not be worn. Family flowers only please but donations in Kath's memory can be given online or at the service to benefit Cancer Research UK. Kathy,that's all I ever knew you as ,and I only ever saw you on the bus! But we've been friends for approx 30 yrs.when we both used to catch the early bus on our way to work. I will really miss your friendly smiley face.and our chats when I catch the bus.rest in peace Kath . love Wendyxxx

My cousin Kathleen, although geography meant contact was not regular, my older Sister’s all loved you dearly, as they were Derby born and share happy memories of you when they were children. You are last of the line of my late Mother Queenie’s family - the Peachey’s. I will always remember the times you visited me with Aunty Joan Peachey, in Gloucestershire. The Peachey family will forever remain in my heart.
