LeslieHOWARTHof Great Harwood, died on Wednesday, January 29, aged 98. He was a keen golfer and cinema and film enthusiast, and enjoyed musical theatre productions, holidays and travelling. Husband of the late Kate, he was father to Leslie, the late Josephine, Eileen, the late Trevor, Denise and Dale. He was also grandfather to 16 grandchildren, had 20 great-grandchildren, and four great, great-grandchildren. A funeral service took place at 10.30am on Thursday, February 13, at St Bartholomew's Church, administered by Graham Birch, followed by burial at Great Harwood Cemetery at 11.30am. Donations, if desired, suggested to British Heart Foundation. Funeral director: Birtwistles Funeral Service, 29 Queen Street, Great Harwood.
