George Philip Howarth, passed away peacefully at Dove Court Care Home on Friday, September 25, 2026, aged 86.
Phil was the dearly loved husband of Sonia, the much loved dad of Lyndsey, Andrew and Marta, and a cherished grandad to Samantha, Ben, Ryan, Alex, Shelley, Stephen, Bianca, Jodie, Alexa, and Lyndan.
He was also a proud great-grandad to twelve great-grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Gwendoline, Fred, his nephews and nieces, and his many friends.
He will be remembered on Thursday, October 15, with a service at St Mary's and All Saints Church Goodshaw at 2pm followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 3.15pm, Accrington Road, Burnley, BB11 5QD
Donations in memory of Phil will be gifted to British Heart Foundation and Leukaemia Research.
