JuneHOWEThe family of June Howe are incredibly saddened to announce her passing on October 15th 2022, at the age of 88 years. June left this world peacefully at Macclesfield General Hospital, with the love of her family around her after a brief illness. June was an incredibly caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She was born to Carrie Walker on June 17th, 1934. After leaving Macclesfield in her early twenties, June chased her dreams by travelling to various destinations in Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East. In the early 1960's she read an ad in 'The Lady' magazine and decided to venture to Bermuda to seek a new chapter in life and become a Nanny. It was in Bermuda where she met her husband, Larry Howe. Together they have one child, Philip. They settled in Canada until the mid 80's when they returned back to the UK. Between then and now June continued to visit family and friends in Australia, Canada and the USA. June loved socialising, entertaining, regaling stories of her past, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She had a vivacious outlook towards life, coupled with the most generous heart. She was described by her peers as being the most genuine friend. To her family, she was described as being so special that she will never, ever be forgotten. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry, children: Philip (Hayley) Grandchildren: David, Shelley and Michael, Great Grandchild: Jack, Brother: Johnny, and her sisters: Jo, Mary, Christine and Edith as well as numerous relatives and friends. Funeral Service to be held at Macclesfield Crematorium Chapel on Thursday 10th November 2022 at 1-15pm followed by burial in Macclesfield Cemetery.
