PatrickHOWLETT(Pat) Formerly of Hessle passed away peacefully in hospital in Wales on 22nd September aged 88 years. The much loved husband of Shirley and loving dad to Darren and Dean, daughters-in-law Zinep and Wendy, a special grandad to Charlie. Will be sadly missed by all.

I worked with Pat from 1973 at Kennings he was like dad to me, as his apprentice a great friend and collegue. I still think of him and Shirley. I will never forget his help starting work, and is sadly missed.

Sorry to hear of Pats passing. Spent many hour talking and corresponding with Pat about his time in Malaya with the 11th Hussars during my research into the Emergency. Sadly lost contact with Pat many years ago. A friendly and helpful man. RIP Pat
