Colin was a great friend. He was a very kind man and I will always remember how he always paid genuine attention to what anyone had to say. I've known him for a long time like my parents Pete and Carole and my brother David, as our families got on well as we were growing up in Cleethorpes congregation . Marie and I also saw Colin alot in Scartho congregation especially when on the ministry as we lived in the same area for a while on the Grange. And he always had a joke to tell me, and I always really enjoyed his company he was always so kind and welcoming. Me and Marie had some nice chats with him in cleethorpes cong when him and Joy and James moved back there at the same time as us, and we had a nice time bowling with the congregation and Colin came and enjoyed getting to know the new ones in clee. When we gave him lifts to Hull hospital he was always so grateful and always still trying to make us smile even though he was poorly, I am so glad I had that time with him coz I remember what we spoke about and it makes me smile. Safe in Jehovahs memory now Colin, sleep tight until we meet again.
