DorisHUGHESPeacefully, at rest, on Wednesday 5th June, after a short illness fought with great courage and dignity, Doris, in her 100th year, former proprietor of Hughes Newsagents, Edensor Road, Longton. Devoted wife of the late George, beloved mum of Patricia, Hilary, Alison and the late George Bertram, much loved mother in law, sister, nan and great nan. Doris will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Funeral service to be held at the United Reformed Church, Longton, on Friday 21st June, 2019, at 11.30am, followed by interment at Longton Cemetery.
