AlbertHUGHES(North Shields) Peacefully on January 6th aged 83 years. Albert beloved husband of the late Lilian. Devoted dad, Granda, Great granda, Brother and uncle. There will be a private celebration of Albert's life at Tynemouth Crematorium. Always in our thoughts.

I wasn't able to get to go for pint with MY own Dad but Albert was THE BEST substitute a son in law could have. He introduced me to the North Shields pubs and will ALWAYS treasure our Wednesday nights out.Miss you loads CAPTAIN SCARLET

I’ll never forget the day we drove in convoy to Amble me in my three wheeler van and our John in his three wheeler car Albert drove round the roundabout the wrong way and we followed him not knowing where we were going
