RoyHUGHES(Ashington) Unexpectedly on 18th May 2023 aged 73 years. Roy, dearly loved husband of Myra, loving Dad of Graeme & Eleanor. Proud grandad of Damian, Lachlan, Jessika, Aeryn & Eira. He was a dear father-in-law of Andrea & Colin. Please meet for funeral service at Trinity Church, Ashington on Tuesday 13th June at 11:00am, followed by private cremation service. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to be collected for the R.N.I.B. Following the service, all welcome to Ashington Masonic Hall (John Street) for refreshments. I have had the pleasure of being one of Mr Hughes patients for many years since I am registered blind. This man went above and beyond. We often had a little talks about his life and family so I am sending my love to them all he will be a big miss.
