MatthewHUGHESSuddenly, at home on Sunday 28th January 2024, Matthew, dearly loved brother of Catherine, Helen and Frances, brother in law to Jennifer and Peter and cherished uncle to his nephews and nieces.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday 12th February at St Mirin's Cathedral at 10am and thereafter to The Hurlet Crematorium for 11am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Very upset to hear of the sudden death of my long time friend Matt. Such a major figure in my life from childhood .
Matt was an integral part also of our wider friendship group for many years at school , university and fellow student flat sharers in Glasgow's West End .

Saddened also on hearing of the earlier passing of his elder brother John , a well liked and much respected man

Rest in peace , Matt , a great friend , a great family.
