My sincerest condolences Liz, to you and your family, on your sudden sad loss. Ronnie’s vision, strong leadership and caring support for the community has resulted in a strong school infrastructure within the county for generations of children and young people. He treated council officers and staff with respect, and in turn we respected him. RIP Ronnie.

Having worked with Ronnie in 40 years' council service, I could not have wished to work alongside such a steadfast, reliable and caring colleague. He will be greatly missed by all those who lives he touched both personally and the many he supported in his role as a councillor over the years. Deep condolences to Liz, Paula, Sarah and family. RIP old friend.
