Suddenly but peacefully at his home at Babell Rd, Gorsedd, aged 89 years.

Husband of the late Val Hughes, and much loved father and father-in-law of Alison & Dave. Treasured pop of Graeme and Mark, and great-grandad of Ava, Ruby, Henry and Ivy.

Celebration of Life Service at Flintshire Memorial Park and Crematorium on Monday 3rd February at 3pm.

My apologies that I can not be there today with Aunty Ali, Uncle Dave and the family. Bert aka pops was a truly wonderful man always smiling and had a heart of gold - my memories of him take be back to my childhood, camping in the caravans at 4 mile bridge. Pops and aunty val and their little sausage dogs would be there to spend time with their family and create memories for their grandsons Graeme and Mark. He was if I remember well an awesome windsurfer! Heaven has gained another star - shine bright Bert you shall be missed but never forgotten xx Love always Claire Lilley and family.
