JoanHUGHESOn 27th May 2025. Our Queen passed away peacefully at Glan Clwyd Hospital, aged 80 years. Formerly of Llandudno, but for the last two years was resident at Kinmel Lodge Residential Dementia Home.

Loving Mother of Janette, Ann, Val and her late son Gary. An amazing Nana and Nin to all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Mum will be hugely missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service takes place on Tuesday 17th June 2025 at Holy Trinity Church, Llandudno at 11.30am, followed by a private committal at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.

Such a beautiful, kind and funny lady. Joan I had you in my life for a very long time, best friends with my mother. You were together always. You will be sadly missed by everyone who had their hearts touched by you. You have created an amazing family who loves you dearly. R.I.P Angel. Love from Caroline xx

Such sad news, Joan & my mum (Brenda) were best friends. Like two peas in a pod, she will be missed by a LOT of people. Goodnight sleep well, Joan. I hope you & my mum have one heck of a blast up there.
