HUGHES Gwyneth

On the 26th November 2025 peacefully at her home in Mowbray Road, Llandudno, aged 91 years.

Much loved mother of Glenys, Mel, Gareth and the late David Vaughan, treasured grandmother and great grandmother. Gwyneth will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

Funeral service takes place at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Monday 15th December at 11.45am.

Was sad to read this. The lovely Mrs Hughes. Many a happy memory in Mowbray Road with my late Nanna Eluned living next door but one to Mrs Hughes. Fond memories of talking to Mrs Hughes in the street or popping to ‘Jacks Smiths’ or ‘Matthews’ for some shopping for the neighbours.

Over the years with my ill health Mrs Hughes was always so kind towards me and would often ask my Dad Derek how I was, or pop a card in the post or give me a telephone call which was always nice to hear Mrs Hughes on the other end.

Such a lovely lady, my love and thoughts are with the family

It is with much sadness that I heard of the passing of Gwyneth. She was a very close friend to my late mother (Nellie). In my youth I have many fond memories of Gwyneth when we alI lived in the police houses on Trinity Ave. A hard working lady who loved her family and her many friends. I now have a vision of Gwyneth and my Mum having a coffee and chat which they both really enjoyed. RIP Cariad
