GordonHUMPHRIESSuddenly on 3rd March 2023, Gordon Samuel, beloved son of Brian and the late Carol and much loved brother to Richard. Funeral Service at Dalnotter Crematorium, Clydebank on Wednesday 29th March 2023 at 2.30pm. In lieu of flowers, there will be an opportunity at the end of the service to make a donation in memory of Gordon for Men Matter Scotland.

Gordon was a kind soul who was always happy to put in the effort for the good of our kayaking club. Although he never wanted to be the focal point of the group, I often saw him taking some of the more shy members under his wing, making them feel like an important part of his club life. I also saw him make himself the butt of many a joke to take the heat away from one of these more nervous people.
A true gent in an atmosphere which could at times be a little odd and intimidating for the uninitiated.
