Ian MarkHUNTER(Gosforth). Died suddenly, in his sleep on Sunday 22nd January 2023 aged 70 years. He was a wonderful man. Husband to Carey, father to Alexis, pops to Esme, Henry and Nell. Brother to Ron, Evelyn and the late Keith. A great friend to many. Following a private cremation there will be a ceremony to celebrate his life at Northern Football Club, McCracken Park, Gosforth on Monday February 13th at 12.30.

Condolences to you all, I worked with him at Berwick, he was my boss, I fixed a small stereo for him years ago for his daughter for college, very grateful man and will be a big miss

Ian was a great storyteller. He had a brilliant sense of humour and made everyone laugh. He was a true friend and supported everyone around him, thank you Ian for always being there. Sunday nights will be never be the same again. Missing you.

I still can't believe Ian has gone. It seems so unreal. I'll miss him, particularly his Mr Grumpy persona complaining about social media, rudeness, modern footballers......and on. A great friend and a grand lad.
