WilliamHUNTERWilliam (Bill) died peacefully, aged 85 years, on 1st March 2023 in Perth, after a long illness bravely borne. He was a self-made businessman in several domains, including a building company, restaurants, and Public Houses, over the years he was twice president of the Federation of Master Builders for Edinburgh and also President for Scotland and Northern Ireland for the same organisation. He was the driving force behind Meadowbank Thistle FC becoming Livingstone FC, he was the new club's first Chairman in the 1990's. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, his daughter, Catherine and his grandchildren, Craig, Vivian and Fiona. The funeral will be on Tuesday 21st March 2023, service in Scone Old Parish Church at 11.00am to which all family and friends are invited. A private interment will take place thereafter. Donations to The Alzheimer's Society will be taken at the church in lieu of flowers.
