On Thursday 1st May 2025, Michael Hurley of Sticklepath, Barnstaple - formerly of Staines, Middlesex - passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, aged 92.
Beloved husband to Rita, proud father to Sharon and Deborah, father-in-law to Larry and Pablo and a fun-loving grandad and great-grandad to James, Steph, Bella, Ria, Effie and Ruby - all of whom he adored.
Michael worked as a Postman for 37 years, delivering letters to the community of Wraysbury, Middlesex. He enjoyed his work very much and treasured the friendships he made along the way.
A funeral service to celebrate Michael's life will be held at the North Devon Crematorium on Thursday 22nd May at 2:15pm. All are welcome. At the family's request, there is no need to wear black. In honour of Michael's questionable dress sense, men are warmly encouraged to wear a pink shirt!
