Barbara AliceHUTCHINSON(Former owner of Myer Hutchinson stage school) On 8th December 2019, peacefully aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Laurie, much loved mum of the late Lorraine, dearly loved nan of Michael and Daniel and great-nanna of Oliver and Grace. A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at 9.30am on Wednesday 18th December at the Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby. Family flowers only, but donations to the Hallgarth Residential Home, may be left at the service. Any enquiries to Rudstons of Hessle The Chevin, Beverley Road, Hessle. 01482 649065.

Just heard of Barbara’s passing. Fond memories of Saturday morning dance class where Barbara held court. Black hair, grande dame style. Royal ballet eyeliner. An imposing, powerful woman who was secretly kind and generous. God alone knows how she coped with hundreds of screaming kids armed with tap shoes. Rest in peace dear lady (and thank you for a whole career in theatre)
