John (in conjunction with Ian, Andy, Pat, & Sue) greatly influenced a whole generation of young people through his devotion & many years with the 91st St Edmunds Scout Group in Allenton.
His telling of jokes was legendry and gives treasured memories 50 years later. "Fred fell over!". Thank you, John, for the great influence you had on my early years and 50 years of friendship.
Cheers, Richard & Kate Joseph, New Zealand.
