Loving husband to Barbara, much loved father of Mike, Linda and Jeremy and a loving grandfather and great grandfather.

Funeral service to be held at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on Friday 14th August 2026 at 11.30am.

Is this the same Joey Hyde who won the Junior Schools swimming championship at the old Alstone Baths?! I won it the following year, 1946 I think. Joey was a legend when I was at Christ Church Junior school. He excelled at everything, swimming, cricket, football, you name it. You knew your chances were slim if he was in the opposing team! RIP Joey.
